A Yellowstone Promise Blurb and Cover Reveal

My latest novella in the Yellowstone Romance Series will be coming out in mid-July. I don't have definite release date yet, but it will be shortly after I return from my trip to Yellowstone.

A YELLOWSTONE PROMISE is the second supplemental novella to the YELLOWSTONE ROMANCE SERIES, and is set after the events of Yellowstone Redemption and Yellowstone Deception

Here is the blurb:

To what lengths will a father go?

Chase Russell has done a lot of growing up since he was thrown two hundred years into the past to the Yellowstone wilderness.  No longer the reckless delinquent he used to be, he has made many life-altering decisions. Providing for his new family has become his number one priority.

Faced with the unthinkable, he’ll do whatever it takes to save the ones he loves, even if it means crossing the boundaries of time. When a strange elder reveals a shocking secret and demands a promise in exchange for his help, Chase doesn’t hesitate to meet the old man’s request.

Returning to a world in which he no longer belongs, Chase faces old demons and confronts new challenges. Will the lessons he’s learned in the past be enough to save his family in the future?

Teaser Tuesday - Ain't No Angel

Here's this week's teaser.

Tyler’s fingers grazed her back when he lifted her hair and laid the long strands over her shoulder. Her heart hammered in her chest, and a chill raced down her spine. Why did he affect her like this? There was something so sensual about his slow and gentle movement, something so unexpectedly tender that it brought tears to her eyes. She’d asked him to remove her corset and he quietly complied, without any lewd remark or stare, or even a hint that he wanted to undress her fully and take advantage of the situation.
Tyler worked the lacings loose as if he had plenty of practice with this sort of thing, and she breathed freely once the confining contraption fell away from her sides. She clutched the corset tightly to her chest, even though she still wore a chemise underneath. A breeze swept through the room from the open window, and although it wasn’t cold, goose bumps covered her arms.
Laney stood still. She leaned forward slightly and held her head down. She ground her teeth in frustration. The skin along either side of her spine tingled, anticipating, longing for his touch. Now that he’d loosened the confining corset, she imagined his palms sliding along her shoulder, his lips pressing against the back of her neck.
“That oughta do it,” he grumbled. “You’d better get dressed before you catch a chill.”
Laney held her breath. She waited, then slowly turned.

Teaser Tuesday - Ain't No Angel

Laney observed his hands, his subtle finger movements as he played with the reins through which he communicated silently with the animals. He closed his hands in a relaxed fist, and the team came to a stop at the top of the incline. Tyler had a gentle hand with the animals. It required a certain touch, a feel, to control a team with such subtle finesse, and he was a master at it. Before she allowed her mind to wander to what else his hands were capable of, Laney glanced at his profile, wondering why they’d stopped. He looked straight ahead, and her eyes followed his gaze.
“Oh, wow.” Her heart rate accelerated, and she sat up straighter, leaning forward to see over the tops of the horses’ backs. Spread out in the valley below them were several barns and buildings, and wooden fenced corrals. A large log ranch house caught her eye, nestled against the slope of a pine tree-covered hill. A huge stone chimney rose from the backside of the house. Dozens of horses grazed in the outlying fields and larger fenced paddocks. A windmill stood off to the side of the dirt yard that separated the main house from the first outbuildings. The blades turned lazily in the breeze.
“Welcome to the Double M,” Tyler said. There was a distinct note of pride in his voice.

Teaser Tuesday - Come Home To Me

Sorry for not posting a teaser last week. I was busy working with my cover designer on a cover for Come Home To Me. There is a poll on my facebook page right now to pick the final cover for the book. Everyone who casts a vote (except for my beta readers who voted, and you know who you are) will be entered to win a ARC of the book. The poll will close when I announce a release date.

Here is this weeks teaser for Come Home to Me (Book 1 in the Second Chances Time Travel Romance Series)

Squinting into the wind, Rachel wasn’t sure if the tears that rolled down her cheeks were due to the dust, or if she’d finally succumbed to homesickness. She missed the company of others, someone she could talk to, familiar faces of people she’d known all her life. Bracing against the sensation of someone crushing her chest, she mindlessly set one foot in front of the other, her worn leather shoes sinking into the loose soil. She couldn’t think about home anymore, or the friends she’d left behind.
She was the one who suggested to Thomas that they move out west so he could make a new start. She had really hoped the idea would brighten his spirits. He’d gone along with her suggestion at first, seemed almost eager at the idea, but it hadn’t taken long for his broodiness to return. She glanced up, squinting into the sun that slowly descended into the far off horizon, and envisioned the Oregon territory she’d heard so much about.  Perhaps when Thomas saw the lush green valleys of Oregon, and laid claim to the 320 acres of land that would be theirs to farm, he would finally return to the man she’d known before . . .
Loud giggles penetrated her mind, and she held her hand to her forehead to shield her eyes from the wind and sun. A rider on a dun horse galloped towards the line of wagons, heading directly for her. Jake Owens. Rachel’s heart fluttered in her chest. The man sat his horse as if he were one with the animal. She hadn’t seen him much over the last three days, after that first night when he ate supper at her wagon.

So, who knows their Oregon Trail history? Where was this picture taken?

Teaser Tuesday - Come Home to Me

Here's another little snippet from Book 1 in the Second Chances Time Travel Series, Come Home to Me.

“By asking me to pretend to be this competent wagon train scout, you are condemning a bunch of people to die. Do you realize that?” Jake stood, anger building up inside him. How was he supposed to get a large group of people through the wilderness of the nineteenth century? If he really had time traveled, this would be an impossible undertaking. “I don’t have the first clue how to get from Iowa to Oregon in the 1800’s. What if I refuse to do this?”
“You’ll return to your jail cell in your time, and will be convicted of first degree murder with special circumstances. I believe you understand what that means.”
Yeah. He knew what that meant. Life on death row. “You’re crazy, you know that?” Jake paced the floor in front of the reverend.  He could rot in a jail cell for the rest of his life, or he could die here in the nineteenth century. “Some choice,” he mumbled. “I don’t even know why I’m agreeing to do this.” A pair of blue eyes flashed in his mind.
