And thank you for choosing NO GREATER GLORY as your next read. I hope you enjoy reading Reece & Emaline's love story as much as I did in crafting them into life. Please let me know your thoughts when finished...and come over & join me on FB. Every morning, M-F, I'm serving up slices of history with my morning coffee!

Warmest regards,
☺
CindyCindy Nord https://www.blogger.com/profile/00218707473893790352noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-257569799231166469.post-48336370758833243182012-08-13T20:23:17.326-07:002012-08-13T20:23:17.326-07:00You are so sweet, Pj...I think you're pretty f...You are so sweet, Pj...I think you're pretty fabulous too!

**hugs**
♥
CindyCindy Nord https://www.blogger.com/profile/00218707473893790352noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-257569799231166469.post-80892696441617821932012-08-13T18:49:21.667-07:002012-08-13T18:49:21.667-07:00This was a very interesting post. I'm pleased you enjoyed it & will find some use in your upcoming book. The fan from the antique store sounds like a 'second-stage mourning' piece. A full-mourning fan would bear stark simplicity and solemnity necessary to the mourning dictates of the day. But, in second-stage mourning, or elegant evening usage, we'll find designs & ornamentations appearing on all Victorian accesories.

Thrilled you popped in.
☺
CindyCindy Nord https://www.blogger.com/profile/00218707473893790352noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-257569799231166469.post-45816352726270948532012-08-13T12:14:21.150-07:002012-08-13T12:14:21.150-07:00Shirl! I'd have some poor Victorian gentleman all confused when I sent him the "I hate you, you may kiss me, it's six o'clock," message.

I'll be printing this off for future reference, however, as I tend to give my heroines better coordination than what I was blessed with. :o)

Thanks, Cindy!

--KirstenKirsten Lynnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05720732595156726142noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-257569799231166469.post-5696336310266224522012-08-13T08:47:24.339-07:002012-08-13T08:47:24.339-07:00Fantastic article! It's a damn good thing I wasn't a Victorian lady (probably a scullery maid in my previous Victorian era life) because I'd never be able to keep all that straight. It comes from North Carolina, where I found it in an antique store. I hope someday to use it as a prop in one of my stories. Your fan language list could come in very handy.
